The Magic Series (A Egyptian Myth)

The Maghik Series

I haven't read this book in a long while. The first and last time that I've read it was either last summer or the summer before last. It had some weird things in it but I was bored and addicted to reading it. The thing about it is that it was quite confusing. I forgot the spelling of the book's name. I have no idea why the author didn't just basically name the book, "The Magic Series." He either spelled it "Maghik," "Majhik," or something related to that. He made a lot of things confusing but it was quite interesting. The author of the book was the main character.
So anyways, I forgot the name of the author but he is the main character and he is a nerd in the book. He had two friends that were girls and I believe that there was a boy in the book too that was his friend. The mythology comes in once they went to a place and did something with a computer. They went inside of the computer and they were in a dessert. Then they started meeting Egyptian gods, goddesses, and creatures.
The only god I remember was Osiris and he was a god. I forgot the role that Osiris played in the book but I think he was playing as a judge because the main character and his friends might've did something wrong. The only Egyptian monster I remembered was some kind of creature that was big, red, and had horns with other features. It's kind of similar to the description of Satan. Throughout the story they had plenty adventures and fights with creatures. I don't remember any of the goddesses or any of the other characters. I don't even remember the main character's friends' names but if I still had the book I would've been more descriptive. I can't even find the book cover on Google or the actual book on Amazon.
I watched a video about Egyptian goddesses and gods so I could remember some of them. Once I watched it, I remembered a demon named Set which is Osiris' brother. In the video, it talked about the time that Set killed Osiris and Set took Osiris' throne as king. It's kind of like the Lion King movie when King Mufasa's evil brother, Scar killed Mufasa and took his throne. Near the end of the book, Osiris and Set had another battle and I forgot who won, it was probably Osiris.
Another god that seemed familiar was a god named Ra. Before the main character and his friends went into the computer, the main character encountered a eagle that was soaring in the sky at his school. In the video it describes Ra as a man with a eagle head. I forgot which role that he played but Ra, Set, and Osiris were names that showed up a lot in the book every once in a while. Osiris' wife was someone that was in the book but I forgot what role she played.

I remember getting this book at my mother's book signing for her book "Celestial Blue Skies" at a basketball gym in New Orleans called Joe Brown Park. I had won a raffle for a random book. So while I was at my mom's book table, my raffle ticket number was called. I believe it was, "4932" or something similar but I remember that the first number was 4. So, I went to the table that had the people that called my number. I gave my raffle ticket to one of the girls that was sitting there and she had put my raffle ticket into a white basket. "These are the girl books," another girl said as she had waved her hands around the pink books with girl faces on them on the left side of the table. "And these are the boy books," she continued as she waved her hand on the other books on the other side of the table.
There were like four or six girl books and about three boy books. "Oh my gosh, these are a lot of girly and wizard fantasy books," I told myself. I never watched or read a Hotter Parry book or watched a Hotter Parry movie. I didn't care about it so much that I would even call them "Parry Hotter" books sometimes.  I thought it was weird and I never wanted to read something similar in the future. The author J.K. Rowling, seems like a good author but I'm not interested in that. I like realistic fiction and black history stuff. Sometimes suspense or mythology stories too.  Greek or Norse mythology like Hercules, Thor, Balder, and Zeus are the only mythology stories that I am in to. Maybe Asian mythology too.
So anyways, I picked a random book that didn't have a cover that seemed that it  didn't have witch or wizard content. The book that I picked was The Magic Series. So I went back to my mom and told her that I won the raffle. She told me to get the author to sign it. I went to the author of the book at his book signing table which was next to ours. I believe he had suspenders, khaki shorts, a button up white shirt, a red tie, glasses, and dreadlocks. He was also Muslim too according to the about the author page.

I can't find the book on Amazon but you can buy my mom's rated R romance book, "Celestial Blue Skies":
